Linking Parts Frequently Sold Together
Learn how to link parts that are frequently sold together so that when you select a part in a customer order or sales quotation, IFS Cloud automatically suggests the complementary parts.
Tip:
Creating links between parts allows you to
add to a customer order or sales quotation parts that are typically sold
together in a single step, instead of selecting them one by one. You can always
decline if one order or quotation does not include all the complementary
parts.
- Go to the Complementary Parts page and create a new complementary part. The process is explained in Creating Complementary Parts.
- Go to the Customer Order page and create a customer order: Creating a Customer Order.

Add a new line with the parent part number.
The Complementary Parts pane appears, showing the parts that are linked to the parent part.

Fill in the complementary part quantity, then click Close.
The line(s) with the complementary part(s) is added to your customer order.
