  This topic lists the references of IFS Cloud inventory locations.
- Shop Order
  A shop order is the action to build a product or a batch of product in IFS Cloud. It can include consumption of materials and operations: time and tasks. Some products cannot be purchased and must be built.
- Creating a New Material Requisition
  Consume stock for internal use.
- Adding a New Quantity for an Inventory Part
  Change the existing stock: add a new quantity to the stock.
- Removing a Quantity from an Inventory Part
  If for an unknown reason, you have more inventory parts counted in IFS Cloud than in your existing stock, you need to remove a quantity from the stock in IFS Cloud.

Inventory Locations

This topic lists the references of IFS Cloud inventory locations.

Use the IFS Cloud inventory locations to define the locations of the stocks used by Marport offices.

Note:

If you need a specific stock location, contact your IFS Cloud referent.


IFS Cloud inventory locations	Purpose
MAIN	Main stock location.
LOAN	Location used to stock parts available for loan to customers.
REFURB	Location used to stock refurbished parts available for sale.
RMA	Location used to stock parts during RMA process.
AMR RMA	Location used to stock parts while waiting for information from Airmar before scrapping them or sending them back to Airmar.
TECH	Location used to stock parts used by Marport teams in their offices.
TRANSIT-CUST	Location used to stock parts during an exchange program (MPA specific).
CONSIG	Location used for short term rental or parts that are not physically in the Consignment stock. The aim is to keep track of parts that are under a short-time rental process and create the right accounting movement into a stock under consignment.
EXCHANGE	Location used to stock parts during an exchange program (MPA specific).
SHIP	Technical use only, do not use this location.
RD	Specific to Marport France R&D.
